WHHIP - Hearing Health Primer 1.6.15

This application serves as a valuable informational tool designed to empower Warfighters in managing their hearing health proactively. It effectively integrates text with contextual demonstrations, enhancing users' awareness of the risks associated with auditory injury and illustrating the potential long-term consequences of neglecting proper precautions.

The app offers users the ability to experience simulations of hearing loss and tinnitus, providing a critical perspective on what can occur if preventive measures are not implemented proactively. Such immersive experiences prepare Warfighters to appreciate the seriousness of hearing-related issues before they develop into more permanent disabilities.

In addition, the HPD Check feature is an innovative component that enables users to assess the fit of their hearing protection devices (HPDs). By comparing their current HPD fit to established standards of optimal fitting devices, Warfighters can ensure they are using effective protection.
